The object of research is the processes of functioning of the vehicle fleet of agro-industrial production in conditions of variable production-technological and organizational-economic factors. When performing the research: the peculiarity of the formation of the freight fleet of agro-industrial enterprises was established; the main indicators of the efficiency of the operation of agro-industrial vehicles were identified; a methodological approach was developed to determine the volume of freight transportation for each type of agricultural products, taking into account the channels of its sale, using a mathematical model to determine the optimal industry structure of production and the composition of the enterprise's freight vehicles; a mathematical model was developed to determine the optimal size and composition of the freight fleet, which makes it possible to increase the efficiency of its use at the enterprise; the use of automated information systems for complex data processing using computer technology and modern technologies is proposed, which provides an additional increase in the efficiency of motor vehicles due to an objective assessment of workload, control over the performance of work, reduction of costs for fleet management, control of fuel consumption and mileage, as well as prevention of unauthorized trips and unloading.
