The object of research is the processes of conducting operations for the technical operation of vehicles in agro-industrial production. According to the results of the research: the key shortcomings of the existing system of maintenance and repair of vehicles in agro-industrial production were identified and reserves for increasing its efficiency were identified; the basic principles of building adaptive models of management of technical operation of vehicles in agro-industrial production were formed; the theoretical foundations of the formation of strategies for the maintenance and repair of automotive equipment in agro-industrial production were developed, taking into account its real technical condition; methodological prerequisites were created for the transition to a system of maintenance based on the actual condition with the use of diagnostic tools, which allows minimizing simple equipment and reducing operating costs and can be used to develop diagnostic programs for agro-industrial vehicles; practical recommendations have been developed for improving the organizational and production structure of the technical operation system, as well as methods for predicting the technical condition of units and components of automotive equipment in agro-industrial production, aimed at increasing the reliability and durability of vehicles. The results obtained can be used to optimize technical maintenance, reduce equipment downtime, reduce the cost of technical maintenance and repairs of vehicles, and contribute to the formation of a modern technical operation system that meets the requirements of efficiency and reliability.
