The report presents the results of a research project conducted by the Department of Mathematical, Natural and Technological Education of the Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education on the topic “Development of Professional Competence of Science and Mathematics Teachers Based on Modern Educational Technologies.” The study aims to provide theoretical and experimental justification of approaches to the formation and development of professional competences of science and mathematics teachers within the system of postgraduate teacher education. The research clarifies the structure of subject-methodological, digital, health-preserving, research, and interdisciplinary competences of teachers, and defines mechanisms for their dynamic development and assessment criteria. Models of mathematical competence for teachers of various disciplines (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, technology) were developed, as well as tools for parametric identification of professional competence components. Particular attention is paid to the application of modern digital and communicative technologies, the CLIL model, artificial intelligence, STEM education methods, and innovative forms of professional development. The practical significance of the study lies in the creation of methodological systems and training courses that promote the development of flexible teacher competences and enhance the effectiveness of their professional activity. The obtained results can be used in postgraduate education, in the development of teacher training programs, methodological recommendations, and professional standards.
