The increase in the prevalence of chronic diseases, the consequences of the war with Russia and stress overload, as well as the trend towards an ageing society, make it urgent to find effective methods of support, correction and rehabilitation of functional disorders in children and adults with speech and intellectual development disorders. The object of the study is the process of organizing speech therapy work with different population groups and methodological aspects of the educational process with children with intellectual disabilities in modern socio-economic and demographic conditions, including the rehabilitation needs of people affected by military actions.
