Registration Date 01-12-2025 Organization Uzhhorod National University State Higher Educational Institution popup.description1 The aim of the work is the development and implementation of innovative biotechnological approaches related to the human microbiome to solve the diagnostic and therapeutic component of the most common challenge of war - post-traumatic stress disorders of military personnel and the civilian population of Ukraine. popup.description2 The conducted experimental, bioinformatic, and mathematical studies in three cohort groups made it possible to identify characteristic taxonomic alterations of the microbiota and integrate the obtained data into predictive models of PTSD risk. An integral Microbiome-Based Risk Score was developed, enabling the formation of individual vulnerability profiles based on microbiome, immunological, and clinical indicators. The obtained results provided the foundation for developing personalized diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic approaches aimed at correcting microbiome disturbances in patients with PTSD.
