The practical significance lies in enriching the collection of sterile forms used as hybrid components with heterogeneous samples of the simple-sterile-hybrid type; obtaining and evaluating three-line CMS sugar beet hybrids developed on their basis; and selecting the best of them that exhibit competitive heterosis. The breeding process for creating high-yielding, environmentally plastic, and stable genotypes has been improved.
