M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat (Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine). popup.description2 The object of the study: winter bread wheat, varieties, lines, wheat-rye translocations (WRT), productivity elements, resistance, and quality. The purpose of the work is to analyze valuable economic traits of breeding lines developed when involving winter bread wheat varieties being carriers of WRT. Research methods are field (phenological observations, creation of artificial complex infectious background, assessment of resistance to leaf diseases in F2-F8); measuring and weighing (recording of yield); mathematical and statistical. Results: The maximum values of the length of the main spike, the number of grains and their mass in F8were established. By group resistance against E. graminis, P. recondita, S. triticithere were identified the lines LUT 61178, LUT 61184, ER1237 in preliminary trials as well as the lines LUT 60995, LUT 60776, ER60773 in competitive test. By yield, complex of economic traits and group resistance against the pathogens, the lines LUT 60995 (MIP Nezlamna) WRT and LUT 61176 (MIP Zakhysnytsia) WRT were identified. Sources of resistance against the main diseases of winter wheat (Kalynova / Svitanok MYR, Kalynova / Ekspromt, Lehenda MYR / Zolotokolosa, Kolumbiia / Zolotokolosa, Svitanok MYR / Kolumbiia, Svitanok MYR / Ekspromt, Ekspromt / Zolotokolosa) were identified and transferred to the Department of Biotechnology, Genetics and Physiology of the V.M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat and the Laboratory of Immunity of Agricultural Plants to Diseases of the Institute of Plant Protection of NAAS.
