A silent passive cooling system for natural convection based on an aluminum heat sink profile and built-in 8 copper thermosyphons has been developed to ensure manufacturability, relative cheapness and reliability. The cooling system provides heat dissipation by natural convection not less than 400 W at a maximum temperature on the on the heater case of +100 °C and an ambient temperature of +40 °C, which allowed more than twice the power of the LED lighting device compared to analogues. As a result: a high-power LED lighting device was developed, manufactured and tested based on high power LED COB modules from Citizen (Japan) and the proposed passive cooling system, which made it possible to obtain a luminous flux of more than 61,000 Lm at an electric power of 521 W. The proposed LED lighting device can be used for the rescue works in the emergency zone and advanced equipment for patrolling territories.
