Haploid lines propagated in vitro were characterized by the presence on the histograms of AP "Partec", both haploid and diploid cells, in the G2 period of the cell cycle, which differed from haploids obtained from immature seed embryos. In terms of the level of genome ploidy, they stabilized to the diploid level within 2-3 passages using selection by ploidy, based on cytophotometric indicators. Interspecific hybrids based on new sterile cytoplasms of Beta maritima and Beta patula used as haploinducers were isolated by the method of gynogenesis using grafted tester genes of hypocotyl color R+r- of one-year and two-year development cycles B+b-.
