The effectiveness of seed inoculation with microbiological preparations on different nutrient backgrounds was determined. It was established that, regardless of the nutrient background, the highest yield of winter wheat plants was obtained when inoculating seeds with Microhumin with subsequent spraying of crops with Biorhythm - 4.5 t/ha (+19.6% to the control on the N30P30 background) and 3.5 t/ha (+10.5% to the control on the biohumus background -1000 kg/ha). The protein content in winter wheat grain of the Peremogha variety, regardless of the nutrient background and the use of growth regulators, was on average 16.0%, the gluten deformation index (GDI) was 70–85 units. The highest yield of spring barley on a background of mineral nutrition (N30P30) was when inoculating seeds with a mixture of preparations Microhumin and Baikal - 3.5 t/ha (+ 9.1% to the control), and on an organic background of nutrition (biohumus 1000 kg/ha) when inoculating seeds with Microhumin with subsequent spraying of crops with Ecostimul - 3.0 t/ha (+ 20.0% to the control). Regardless of the nutritional background, a high protein content in the grain of spring barley of the Bravy variety was found when inoculating seeds with the preparation Microhumin with spraying in the tillering phase with the preparation Baikal (11.47% - on a mineral background of nutrition and 11.04% - on an organic one). The highest profitability was achieved against the background of N30P30 nutrition when using a mixture of preparations for seed inoculation Microhumin (1.0 kg/t) and Baikal (2.0 l/t): for winter wheat - 33.8%, for spring barley - 23.2%. "Scientific and methodological recommendations on the comprehensive use of agrobiological measures for effective, environmentally balanced grain production in the southeastern industrial region" have been developed.
