Beketov national university of urban economy in Kharkiv popup.description1 Research into the possibility of creating a safe and environmentally friendly technology for the finishing of high-precision parts made of thermoplastics, including those obtained by 3D printing methods, with the products of combustion of low-pressure hydrogen-air mixtures based on "green" hydrogen in the Impulse Thermal Energy Method, as well as automatic determination of processing modes due to development of digital twins of work processes. popup.description2 Within the reporting stage of the research and development work, a set of tasks was carried out to establish the material, technical, and methodological foundation for subsequent experimental studies of the impulse thermal energy method (ITEM) applied to the processing of thermoplastic components using combustion products of low-pressure “green” hydrogen. A prototype experimental test bench was manufactured, enabling the implementation of controlled ITEM processing modes while ensuring safety, repeatability of operational parameters, and energy efficiency. The main functional units of the bench were assembled, including the working chamber, vacuum system, gas supply and exhaust lines, and instrumentation for pressure and temperature monitoring. A programme for experimental investigations of technological and operational ITEM processes was developed. The programme defines the set of experiments, parameters to be monitored and measured, methods for data acquisition, safety requirements, and the procedure for conducting the studies. Scientific publications on the project’s subject matter were prepared and submitted to journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports, along with a conference paper for an international scientific event. The results obtained form the scientific and technical basis for further validation of numerical models and for conducting full-scale experimental studies in the next stages of the project.
