Development of mathematical models of EPS load in the tasks of short- and long-term planning of generating capacities progress. 2. Experimental studies of the effectiveness of using well-known powerful solvers of mixed-integer linear programming problems, which are reduced to the tasks of modeling the load modes of EPS generating capacities. 3. Development of algorithms for parallel modeling of generating capacities load modes in tasks of planning of EPS progress. 4. Development of a parallel simulation environment for solving the problems of the progress planning for generating capacities of EPS with renewable and nuclear energy sources. 5. Experimental studies of the effectiveness of using a parallel simulation environment to solve the problems of the development planning for generating capacities of EPS. popup.description2 To support the sustainable functioning and development of the energy sector in the face of terrorist and military threats, the concept of creating a structurally variable electric power system (EPS) was considered, which includes the development of the national power system, regional energy clusters and local power grids. To understand the necessary development of the legislative and regulatory framework, as well as organizational measures aimed at ensuring greater stability of the Ukrainian power system, studies were conducted to develop mathematical models of promising EPS. The report presents load models of controlled power units (NPP and TPP) and energy storage systems (GPS, AKB), as well as representative load models of uncontrolled wind power and solar power plants. It is shown that the problems of mathematical modeling of EPS load regimes are high-dimensional mixed integer programming (MILP) problems. The results of experimental studies of the effectiveness of using existing solvers of mixed integer linear programming problems for optimizing the structure of generating capacities of a local network with large shares of electricity production from renewable and nuclear energy sources are presented. Based on the results of experimental studies, it was concluded that it is necessary to use parallel computing resources to solve such problems. A two-level parallel algorithm for solving problems of optimizing the structure of generating capacities of the electric power plant is proposed. The experiments have shown that the proposed algorithm for parallelizing calculations allows to achieve an acceleration of finding a solution to the problem on one computing node, depending on the model parameters, by more than 13 times.
