The influence of multicomponent preparations of biological origin on the sowing and varietal qualities of basic seed potatoes in the southwestern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine will be studied. The phytovirological state and bacterial disease damage of seed potatoes depending on the use of biological products will be established. Effective elements of growing pre-basic potato seeds in the conditions of the southwestern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine will be developed. The indicators of seed productivity of registered potato varieties of domestic selection in the conditions of the southwestern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine will be determined and the most productive varieties for cultivation in the region will be identified. popup.description2 Effective elements of the technological process for producing pre-basic and basic potato seed using biopreparations have been identified for the conditions of the southwestern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. When reproducing seed potatoes obtained through different cultivation methods, the highest yield was recorded in the variants with three applications of the biopreparation during the growing season, as well as seed treatment combined with three applications during the growing season. For the Slauta variety, the yield ranged from 24.6 to 25.3 t/ha, while for the Kimmeria variety it ranged from 25.7 to 26.2 t/ha. The difference in these productivity indicators between the specified variants was within the margin of error. When assessing the infection of plantings with viral diseases, an increase in the number of diseased plants showing external symptoms was observed in the control variant, whereas a decrease in infection was recorded when biopreparations were applied during the growing season. To improve the quality characteristics of seed potatoes during reproduction, it is recommended to apply the preparation Avatar-2 Protection at a rate of 200 ml/ha three times during the crop’s growing season. When determining the seed productivity of basic seed potatoes of registered varieties under the conditions of the southwestern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, the highest yield among the very early varieties was recorded for the Vzirets variety — 28.6 t/ha; among the early-maturing varieties — for Zhytnytsia — 29.0 t/ha; and among the mid-maturing varieties, as well as in the experiment overall, the highest yield was obtained for the Marfusha variety — 31.7 t/ha. Slightly lower yields were recorded for the Svitana and Fanatka varieties — 28.0 and 28.6 t/ha, respectively. Product Description popup.authors Olha I. Danyliuk Halyna I. Kokhaniuk Tetiana O.
