The development of fungal infection was reduced by 51.9–78.7% with Vitastym BT, 68.9–81.3% with SG Biodoc, 74.0–75.4% with Diaktaverm BT and 86.9–95.5% with Biohibervit BT. At a total seed infection level of 31–53%, seed treatment with a 3% solution of Diaktaverm BT was highly effective, completely suppressing the development of Bipolaris sorokiniana, Fusarium spp. and Penicillium spp. and reducing Alternaria spp. by 53.1%. Spraying spring barley crops with biofungicides at the tillering stage (BBCH 23–29), stem elongation–flag leaf emergence (BBCH 30–37) and grain formation–milk ripeness (BBCH 71–77) reduced the spread of dark brown leaf spot by 30–73%. For thrips control, the most effective treatment was Likanicilin BT + Betsymid BT, which reduced the number of thrips larvae and bugs by 90% compared with the control and aphids by 32%. A broad pest control effect was also observed with Actofit BT + Bitoxibacillin BT and Boverin BT + Metarhizyn BT: aphid populations decreased by 55–70% in 2024 and by 28–35% in 2025, thrips by 90% and bugs by 40–45% compared with the untreated control. For organic farming, the most environmentally friendly and promising approach to protecting spring barley from pests is the use of biopreparation mixtures Likanicilin + Betsymid and Actofit + Bitoxibacillin. These combinations reduce pest numbers by half without negatively affecting beneficial entomofauna. The effectiveness of bioinsecticides depends on weather conditions and pest infestation intensity. When using biopreparations for pest control in spring barley, profitability reaches 158–161%. The application of biofungicide compositions Vitastym BT + Diaktaverm BT and Biohibervit BT + Diaktaverm BT in a 1:2 ratio ensures profitability of up to 168% and increases net profit by 3–5 thousand UAH per hectare.
