Based on the research, methodological recommendations for the technology of growing grain sorghum as a feedstock for biofuel production have been developed; the ecological foundations have been substantiated and the energy potential of grain sorghum varieties has been assessed; and the influence of cultivation technology elements on the energy efficiency of grain sorghum has been determined. The application of the methodological recommendations will make it possible to increase grain sorghum productivity by 20–25% and reduce the production cost of its feedstock by 17–22%, as well as enable the cultivation of grain sorghum under diverse soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine.
