To achieve this goal, the following objectives were set: – to test experimental hybrid combinations based on a developed scheme for creating components and forming sugar beet hybrids using cytoplasmic male sterility; – to select the best hybrids according to mathematical processing of experimental data using specially developed software; – to ensure the multiplication of the best hybrids and submit them for state variety testing; – to develop approaches for improving the creation of hybridization components and the management of the breeding process for the development of CMS sugar beet hybrids.
