To develop breeding methods for increasing animal productivity, which will increase the competitiveness of the industry in the conditions of Bukovina. popup.description2 Flocks of Bukovyna-type sheep of Askania meat and wool breed have been formed. The ewes' fertility rate is 95.2%, the multiplicity rate is 127%, the lamb yield per 100 ewes is 121 heads, the live weight is 55.9 kg, the wool length is 11.4 cm, and the pure wool yield is 2.8 kg. One ewe produced 108 kg of marketable milk or 27 kg of cheese. A comprehensive evaluation of ewes and young animals of the Bukovinian type of Askanian Karakul breed was carried out. The fertility rate is 96%, the multiplicity rate is 140%, and the lamb yield per 100 ewes is 134 heads. The young lambs are born with a live weight of 4 to 6 kg, mainly of the average curl size 70.8%, flat 56.7% and ribbed 26%, jacketed 15.8% of the striped type, elite class 28.4%, first class 56.2%, and second class 15.4%. One ewe produced 146.7 kg of milk or 41.8 kg of cheese. The productivity indicators of Ukrainian Mountain Carpathian sheep were studied. The ewes' fertility is 90%, the ewes' multiplicity is 124.5%, and the lambs' yield per 100 ewes is 112 heads. Ewes with white semi-coarse wool, live weight - 45.5 kg, pure wool weight - 2.4 kg, ossicle length - 16.5 cm. One ewe produced 72 kg of milk or 18 kg of cheese.
