Head Olifirovych Volodymyr O., Кандидат сільськогосподарських наук Registration Date 21-12-2025 Organization Bukovynian State Agricultural Research Station of the Institute of Agriculture of the Carpathian Region of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 To study the fodder productivity of seed alfalfa varieties of different geographical origin depending on the fertilization regime in the Carpathian region. The varietal response of sowing alfalfa to seed inoculation with a biological product based on nodule bacteria in combination with the use of a plant growth regulator will be studied. The possible synergistic effect of these preparations on the production process of seed alfalfa will be established. popup.description2 The elements of technology for creating and using alfalfa-based grass stands in the Carpathian region have been improved. In the first year of use, the highest dry matter yield was obtained on limed soil with the application of P60K60 and presowing seed bacterization and the use of plant growth regulators in the Radoslava and Persia Nosivska varieties – 12.95 and 13.38 t/ha, respectively. In total, during the first two years of life, alfalfa grass provided a dry matter yield of 11.95-17.37 t/ha. The maximum dry matter yield in the experiment for the first two years of life was formed on a limed background with the application of P60K60 and pre-sowing seed bacterization and the use of a plant growth regulator in the Radoslava and Persia Nosivska varieties – 16.76 and 17.37 t/ha, respectively. The share of alfalfa in the green mass yield is 84.2–98.9%. The highest economic efficiency was provided by the Persia Nosivska and Radoslava alfalfa varieties: the conditional net profit and profitability when growing these varieties was 24,204-24,497 UAH/ha and 160.3-160.5%, respectively.
