Plants adaptive potential determination provides not only seed productivity high level under favorable environmental factors, but also obtaining its high lower threshold. A genotype stability determination will be calculated by the difference between maximum and minimum yield, and the smaller it is, the higher is the stability (stress-resistance). The best samples will be chosen for using in selection work and creating new common bean varieties with consistently high productivity, manufacturability and seed quality, with high taste and nutritional qualities, considering protein composition, with attractive appearance, marketability and transportability; suitable for mechanized harvesting. popup.description2 New breeding material for common beans has been created. Particular attention was paid to such characteristics as increased adaptive potential of plants, grain yield, bush type, height of attachment of the lower tier of beans, and weight of 1,000 seeds. In competitive variety testing, three varieties reliably exceeded the neighboring standard in productivity by 5.5-9.3%, and their yield was 2.43-2.58 t/ha. The duration of the growing season for the best samples ranged from 86 to 93 days. All samples were standard with a plant height of 47-52 cm. The height of the lower tier of pods (an important indicator determining the suitability of samples for mechanized harvesting) was 11-16 cm. The weight of 1,000 grains of the best samples studied ranged from 242 to 325 g. The seeds of the firstyear propagation seedlings of registered varieties of common grain beans were grown: Bukovinka – 0.85 t, Nata – 0.65 t. Product Description popup.authors Світлана Й.
