Preservation of germplasm identity, maintenance of its viability and genetic integrity, as well as improvement of access to it. popup.description2 According to the results of the research, sources of drought resistance were identified, namely: watermelon samples: Pechorny (46.7%), Mirage (41.8%), melons – Zima (77.9%) and Yuzhanka (72.8%), pumpkins – Red Hokkaido (60.7%) and Kaganskaya (58.9%) and sources of heat resistance, including: watermelon – Madera (73.43%), melons – Pamyati Pangalo (66.8%), pumpkins – Yubilei (49.7%). The growing season of the studied melon samples was within 62–80 days. The earliest ones include Koveza (62 days), Pamyati Pangalo (71 days), Yuzhanka (71 days), Skorospelka Sibirskaya (72 days), Korea-21 (72 days). The most early ripening was characterized by watermelon samples - Pechorny (75 days), Madera (76 days), Pannonia (78 days), Mirage (79 days), Thai Baby (80 days), Karapuz (80 days). In terms of productivity, among the large-fruited pumpkin samples, the following stood out: Domashnya (10.0 kg/plant), Kushchovy (9.7 kg/plant), melons - Pamyati Pangalo, Kaz-21 and Yuzhanka (3.5–3.6 kg/plant), watermelon - Andriyash (6.2 kg/plant), Thai Baby (6.0 kg/plant). In terms of "fruit weight", the best pumpkin samples should be noted: Domashnyi (6.7 kg), Kushchovy (6.8 kg), melon - Kaz-2 (2.4 kg), Pamyati Pangalo (2.3 kg), watermelon - Andriyash (4.8 kg). Thai Baby (4.7 kg). Among the introduced samples, the following samples stood out in terms of dry soluble matter content: pumpkins – Domashnya (12.8%), Kushchovy (12.5%), Red Hokkaido (12.3%), melons – Skorospelka sibirskaya (16.1%), Kaz-21 (13.7%), watermelon – The Sun (13.8%), Andriyash 13.1%), Yanusyk (13.0%), A collection of melon crops (27 samples) has been formed, of which watermelons – 9, melons – 9, pumpkins – 9.
