COMMON BEAN, VARIETY, FIELD YIELD, PLANT DENSITY, SOWING METHODS, SOWING TIMES, YIELD. The object of research is the processes of growth, development and peculiarities of the formation of the common bean grain yield and their dependence on the studied factors. The subject of research is the set of theoretical and applied aspects of the formation and development of common bean plants; peculiarities of the production process, elements of cultivation technology: variety, methods and sowing times, seed sowing rates, economic and energy indicators of common bean cultivation technology. The purpose of the research is to study the influence of elements of cultivation technology on the biological potential of common bean plants while optimizing the processes of grain yield formation and quality under climate change in the Forest-Steppe. Research methods are laboratory, field, measurement-weight, statistical. The elements of the technology for growing common beans in a wide-row manner have been improved, which ensure optimization of the processes of grain yield and quality formation under climate change conditions in the Forest-Steppe. The highest yield of common bean grain is characterized by the variants of wide-row sowing with a row spacing of 45 cm and a plant density of 450 thousand pcs/ha for both sowing periods and with a row spacing of 60 cm and a plant density of 550 thousand pcs/ha for the first sowing period. The grain yield of the Mavka variety for the first variant was 2.03 t/ha and 1.94 t/ha, respectively, and the Assol variety for the second - 2.09 t/ha. The protein content in common bean grain was higher than in the first sowing period and, depending on the genotype of the variety, varied within 21–23%. The level of profitability of growing common beans using these elements of the technology was 210–223%. Product Description popup.authors Serhii H.
