The purpose of the work is to substantiate the organizational, economic and institutional factors of improving the mechanism for managing environmentally-oriented development of enterprises in the agricultural sector. Research methods. A number of general scientific and special methods were used in the research process, in particular: dialectical; economic-statistical; graphic; analysis and synthesis; abstract-logical approach. Improving the information, organizational and administrative mechanisms for developing environmental policy in agriculture requires a differentiated approach at the national and regional levels. The key role in improving the management of environmentally-oriented development of the agricultural sector at the micro level belongs to integrated technologies that provide a comprehensive approach to the rational use of natural and production resources. Based on the results of the research, the conceptual principles of managing environmentally-oriented development of the agricultural sector are substantiated.
