During the reporting period of 2021-2025, the collection was replenished with 67 varieties of Ukrainian and foreign potatoes, including 23 varieties in 2025 that showed high reaction rates when grown in the Polissya region of Ukraine. Six varieties and two hybrids have been registered as sources of valuable economic traits. A trait collection of potatoes has been formed and registered according to yield, comprising 109 samples from 12 countries, 11 traits and 76 levels of expression. The varieties Javelina, Mirami, Yarina, Helena, and Snizhana, created on the basis of collection potato samples, have been submitted for state variety testing. Scientific and methodological recommendations for the formation of educational collections of genetic diversity of potatoes of the section Tuberarium (Dun.)
