Subject of research: variety of winter wheat "Osnova Odesa", hybrid of winter rapeseed DSV "Phoenix KL", hybrid of sunflower Pioneer P64LE25; classical and strip (Mzuri Pro-Til) tillage of soil; phenological and biometric observations; economic efficiency; ecological and agrochemical condition of soils; level of land pollution. Purpose of research: increase of productivity of wheat, rapeseed and sunflower in conditions of soil degradation and climate change of the Southern Steppe of Ukraine, as well as development of a method of non-contact examination of soils damaged by military operations. During the research, the following tasks were completed: the manifestations of soil degradation and dynamics of soil fertility were studied, in particular under the influence of military operations; the physical, physicochemical and chemical indicators of the soils of the Southern Steppe were determined; measures were developed to restore fertility depending on the degree of contamination or damage to the land; a method of non-contact soil research using UAVs and GIS technologies was introduced for minimal contact with damaged soils and identification of problem areas; resource-saving, environmentally friendly and economically feasible technologies for restoring soil fertility were developed (Mzuri Pro-Til, No-till compared to classical technology) for sustainable crop cultivation in the war and post-war periods; elements of environmentally friendly technology for growing crops on irrigated lands of Southern Ukraine were improved; the yield and economic efficiency of growing crops using classical and progressive resource-saving.
