The purpose of the work is to carry out the development due to the need to improve the ability to determine unified approaches to grouping and coding of material and technical resources in construction, which are used by all participants in the investment construction project at different stages of its implementation. Research methods are analysis of regulatory documents and standards, comparative analysis of existing classifiers, systematization and grouping of data, logical modeling methods, expert assessments. The main content of the work. The work analyzes existing approaches to grouping and coding of material and technical resources in construction and identifies the main problems of data unification between different accounting systems. Methodological principles for building a codifier of construction products are proposed, taking into account the typology of materials, products and kits. A grouping system has been developed, which provides for a hierarchical system of features (group - subgroup - element) with the possibility of expansion for new types of resources. A draft of the Estimated Standards of Ukraine “Guidelines for assigning codes, names and units of measurement to construction products for determining the cost of construction” has been developed. Proposals have been made to adapt the developed system to current state standards and construction management information systems. The practical significance of the results obtained is to create a basis for the implementation of a unified system of grouping and coding of material and technical resources, which will ensure data consistency, increase the efficiency of planning, accounting and control over the use of resources in construction.
