The amount of available nutrients formed is highly correlated with precipitation (r=0.61–0.97). In terms of its effect on the content of available nutrients in the soil, green manure crops outperform fallow land: the amount of available nitrogen increases by 21–30%. In terms of accumulation of mobile phosphorus, the green manure crop Phacelia is more advantageous, while for potassium, it is rape; the types of fertilization systems influence the fraction-group composition and available forms of organic matter in the southern chernozem soil. Economic efficiency has been calculated: Nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizer (N10P46) showed a high level of profitability when used for wheat cultivation on green manure fallows, ranging from 118.6% (Phacelia + Rape) to 336.1% (Rape). For wheat cultivation with fertilizers having a fertilizer-stimulating effect on green manure fallows, the profitability was 136.5% (Extra + Amino + Cereals); on Phacelia green manure fallow, the humic preparation Humistar provided a profitability of 225.8%. The cost of nitrogen from green manure crops, depending on the type of crop and its yield, ranged from 28.3 UAH/kg to 41.1 UAH/kg, while nitrogen from mineral fertilizers ranged from 64.7 UAH/kg to 168.8 UAH/kg. Testing and implementation of research results were carried out. Scientific and practical recommendations have been developed, with scientifically grounded measures for adapting plant nutrition systems aimed at stabilizing the organic matter content as the basis for crop productivity, the effectiveness of agriculture in Southern Ukraine, and preventing the degradation chernozem soil cover.
