A reduction in the incidence of viral infections in basic potato seeds was observed. As a result of six treatments of basic potato plantings of the Rodinna variety with the preparations Transform and Geronimo in combination with the mineral oil Olemix, 84 k.e. and desiccation of potato foliage 20 days after flowering, a 0.5% reduction in YBK damage to potatoes was observed compared to the control, with damage to untreated control crops amounting to 1.0%. The yield of the basic seed potato variety Rodynna depended on the application of desiccation of potato tops 20 days after flowering. In the variants without potato haulm removal, the yield was 31–35.2 t/ha, while with potato haulm desiccation, the yield was 25.3–31.8 t/ha. Treatment of plantings with insecticides contributed to an increase in the yield of potato tubers relative to the control, with the application of Transform by 2.0 t/ha or 6.0% and treatment of potatoes with Geronimo by 1.8 t/ha or 5.42%. The combination of desiccation and insecticide treatments contributed to an increase in yield by 4.3 t/ha for Transform and by 3.2 t/ha for Geronimo. The addition of mineral oil to insecticide treatments resulted in an increase in the yield of Rodynna potatoes by 6.5 t/ha with Transform and 5.8 t/ha with treatments of plants with Geronimo 22,9%.
