The relevance of the study is determined by the increasing frequency of heat stress, which is accompanied by a decrease in productivity, reproductive functions and resistance of animals to diseases. The search for safe, environmentally friendly means of preventing heat and oxidative stress is an important condition for the stable development of the livestock industry in conditions of climate change. The main objectives of the study included: assessing the impact of magnesium nanocompounds on the metabolic state, hematological and biochemical parameters of the blood; determining the impact of nanocompounds on the productivity of dairy cows; studying the effectiveness of magnesium nanocompounds for the prevention of heat stress. The main scientific idea is to use nanoscale forms of biogenic elements as highly effective regulators of metabolic processes that ensure the adaptation of the animal body to climatic and environmental stressors. The hypothesis of the study was that the introduction of magnesium nanocompounds into the diet will contribute to increasing stress resistance, normalizing energy metabolism processes and improving animal productivity. The work combines physiological, biochemical and nanotechnological approaches to solving the problem of adapting livestock to climate change conditions and is a component of the formation of a system of climate-oriented agriculture in Ukraine.
