The report highlights the research of scientists of the Research Station of the Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Sciences for 2024–2025 on the creation and study of the genetic potential of a new initial material for the selection of parental components and the formation of high-yielding single-sprout hybrids of fodder beets on a sterile basis. Based on the results of the research, breeding and genetic principles for the selection of parental forms were developed, 12 combinable O-type lines and their analogues from the Central European Plant Breeding System were identified, 15 combinable multi-germ pollinators of fodder beet with an increased level of basic productivity were identified. 14 highly productive mono-germ hybrids of fodder beet on a sterile basis were created, which exceed the standard for dry matter yield by 5–11%.
