For the first time, unique homozygous mustard accessions with combined morphological traits were obtained:anthocyanin leaf coloration and cream flowers (F22/13.6, F22/74.2);green, wavy leaves and cream flower petals (F22/13.7, F22/74.6);golden-yellow flowers and purple, wavy leaves (F22/13.5, F22/74.7, F22/24.5, F22/73.2).Genetic sources for various mustard morphological traits—including petal, plant, seed, and leaf blade coloration; leaf blade shape; and the presence or total absence of pubescence or waxy coating—were identified. In nurseries across different trial years, several winter mustard-rapeseed hybrids (GRG-16.17, GRG-17.17.3, GRG-20.17, GRG-30.17, GRG-32.17, GRG-35.17, GRG-36.17, GRG-37.17) were identified, featuring a complex of key economically valuable traits: seed oil content of 40.16–46.91%, erucic acid content of 0–0.2%, and winter hardiness of 92–100%. Notable winter mustard samples include: GO-30.17.1 (yield: 2.01 t/ha, oil content: 43.40%, winter hardiness: 99%) and GO-74.17 (yield: 1.94 t/ha, oil content: 42.17%, erucic acid content: 1.81%, winter hardiness: 98%).Among the spring mustard breeding material, samples F23/4.2, F23/4.3, and F23/4.4 were selected with oil contents of 42.66%, 42.31%, and 41.76%; essential oil contents of 1.09%, 1.12%, and 1.09%; and reduced erucic acid contents of 29.82%, 26.92%, and 33.71%, respectively, alongside contrasting morphological traits. Sample F22/46.1 demonstrated an oil content of 43.47%, allyl mustard oil of 0.74%, low erucic acid content (0.98%), and a thousand-seed weight of 2.34 g.The spring brown mustard (Brassica juncea) variety Hanya (AV-20.4) was developed. Its performance indicators include: yield of 2.2 t/ha, oil content of 42.63%, essential oil content of 1.10%, erucic acid content of 2.34%, and a thousand-seed weight of 2.87 g. The variety is characterized by early matu Product Description popup.authors Valentyna I. Levchenko K.V. Vedmedeva Hanna I. Budilka Galina V. Vendel Olena Kuzmenko popup.nrat_date 2025-12-28 Close
