A series of film photocatalysts based on individual oxide compounds and mixed metal oxides were obtained by sol-gel synthesis. Their optical properties and partial structural characteristics were determined. It has been shown that the efficiency of photocatalytic conversion of tetracycline hydrochloride antibiotic under visible light is highest in samples of mixed metal oxides with the last layer heat-treated at 450°C, and under simulated sunlight in samples of titanium dioxide. The results of the analysis of photoconversion efficiency demonstrate that, unlike films of individual oxide compounds, for films containing mixed metal oxides, there is a dependence of the adsorption capacity of samples on the temperature of production. This dependence may indicate different mechanisms of photocatalytic transformations for series of films of individual and mixed metal oxides, the study of which requires the use of additional methods.
