An analysis of the current state and development trends of machines and technical equipment used for differentiated soil cultivation, sowing and application of agrochemicals using navigation and automated control systems was conducted. Based on theoretical research, the main technological and design parameters of the machine for precision agriculture were substantiated, and their impact on the quality of agrotechnological operations and energy efficiency of work was determined. A structural diagram of a machine with a modular structure and an integrated GPS navigation and automatic control system is proposed, which ensures increased accuracy of the technological process. A research program and methodology have been developed, the results of an experimental evaluation of the machine's operation have been presented, and a comparative analysis with existing analogues has been performed. An economic and operational assessment of the effectiveness of the application of the developed design was carried out, and the issues of occupational health and environmental safety were also considered. The results obtained can be used in the design and modernization of precision farming machines, as well as in the educational process when training specialists in agricultural engineering.
