The relevance of the work was determined by the need to create early-ripening hybrids, in which the critical period of development would not coincide with maximum temperatures and drought, which would allow realizing the yield potential in more comfortable conditions. Up to 40 thousand FAO 150-290 hybrids were synthesized and tested. 8 corn hybrids (3 early-ripening and 5 medium-early groups) were submitted for state variety testing.
