The main pathogens isolated from the affected tubers were fungi of the genus Fusarium, the proportion of pathogens of which was 55.1%. In order to ecologize potato protection measures against tracheomycoses, biofungicides were used for pre-planting treatment of tubers and spraying of plants during the growing season: Trichodermin Biofor, 2 l/t (based on the hyperparasite fungus Trichoderma viride), multicomponent biofungicide Mycohelp, 1 l/t (fungi of the genus Trichoderma, bacteria Bacillus subtilis, Azotobacter, Enterobacter, Enterococcus), Gliocladin, 2 l/t, (based on the antagonist fungus Gliocladium virens), Trichopsin 2.5 l/t (based on Trichoderma viride T-4 and rhizosphere bacterium Pseudomonas aureofaciens 306). Treatment of potatoes with biological preparations contributed to a decrease in the number of diseased tubers and an increase in yield by 11.1-15.7%. The effectiveness of biological preparations against tracheomycosis was 47.4-63.5%. Among the potato varieties and hybrids planted on a provocative infectious background, the Javelina variety was susceptible to wilt diseases, the damage to which reached 18.2%. Relative resistance was demonstrated by the varieties Evroviva, Oksamyt, Rostavytsia, and hybrids P.15.56-10 (09.77/5 × Podolyanka), 316.40/2 (03.1- 6a × Karlena 57), P.17.38/16 (Vector × Radomysl), P.17.13/7 (F.11.12-8 × Partner), P.18.87/2 (F1 B9-10-11), P.17.30-3 (Zorachka × Vzirets), where the number of diseased plants did not exceed 2.6%.
