Perc. and creating a database of cancer pathotypes in Ukraine popup.description2 To improve and continue research on the identification of Ukrainian pathotypes in 2024 - 2025, we proposed to update the European test assortment with new differentiator varieties Carduma, Acoustic and Evroviva; and the Ukrainian one - with varieties of Ukrainian selection: Polissya Rozhova, Slovyanka, Kalynivska, Malynska Bila, Shchedryk, Chervona Ruta, Bazis, Santarka, Glazurna, Bozhedar. In the laboratory conditions of the UkrNDSKR IZR NAAS, 5 tubers of each differentiator variety were infected and the reaction of the variety to infection with pathotypes was determined. Since some differentiator varieties were removed from the State Register of Plant Varieties Suitable for Distribution in Ukraine (Bazis, Bozhedar, Dyvo, Kalynivska, Malynska Bila, Santarka), in 2025, studies were conducted to determine the reaction of new potato varieties of Ukrainian selection: Slauta, Svitana, Knyahynya, Mirami, Soborna to infection with Ukrainian pathotypes and it was proposed to use them as a new test variety of potatoes. To replenish the pathotype bank in 2024-2025, samples of cancerous growths of pathotypes and isolates of the pathogen that are widespread in Ukraine were selected, preserved in 0.4% formalin solution A map of the distribution of the potato cancer pathogen in the Carpathian region of Ukraine was compiled.
