The properties, elemental chemical and phase composition of the heat-resistant alloy ЖС32 and the multilayer coating applied to its surface, obtained by magnetron sputtering using NiCrAlY cathode, the coating deposited using ZrB2 + MoSi2 ceramic cathode, and vacuum-arc oxide coating applied using WTiYTaMo cathode, have been analyzed. A multilayer coating architecture, which consists of alternate heat-resistant NiCrAlY layers and oxide or boride ceramics layers, has been proposed. Samples of engine blades with the multilayer composite thermal barrier coatings have been transferred to the Zaporizhzhia Machine-Building Design Bureau “Progress” LLC named after Academician O.G.
