Purpose of the study: To develop approaches for improving the effectiveness of combined treatment in patients with early-stage cervical cancer, taking into account the risks of local and distant metastasis, and to substantiate a program for individualized therapy and post-treatment monitoring. Methods and equipment: Database technologies; analytical-review, clinical-analytical, and information-modelling approaches. No special equipment was used. Theoretical and practical results: A set of parameters characterizing the course and outcomes of cervical cancer that may serve as potential prognostic indicators of treatment effectiveness has been identified; an information model of a follow-up (catamnestic) database has been developed; a prototype analytical database structure has been created, consisting of 20 informational tables, 315 fields, and 54 reference directories, describing anthropometric and anthropological patient characteristics, tumor characteristics, the treatment performed, and its outcomes; classifiers for types of radiotherapy, chemotherapy, their combinations, treatment complications, and outcomes have been constructed. Novelty: For the first time, a prototype of a scientific database and a database management system has been developed as a tool for substantiating ways to improve the effectiveness of combined treatment for early-stage cervical cancer, taking into account the risks of local and distant metastasis.
