Previous studies on this issue are intended to outline the main prospects for further processing of a significant array of historiographical and archival sources. The monastic tradition of Halych, which dates back to the introduction of Christianity in Eastern Europe and continues until the end of the 18th century, accumulates a rich historical and cultural heritage of various Christian rites (Greek, Uniate, and Latin). For many centuries, the monastic centers of Halych played the role of major spiritual, cultural, educational, and economic centers. Numerous representatives of the Halych community often formed around monasteries, closely linking both spiritual and economic affairs with the monasteries. The highest representatives of the Galician monastic community were involved in political and religious conflicts on a pan-European scale. An important and promising direction for presenting the main results of the work is the implementation of their provisions and ideas in the exhibition and excursion activities of the National Reserve “Ancient Halych” through the creation of new routes and the updating of museum exhibitions.
