The object of the study is the institutional and economic mechanism of environmentally-oriented development of agricultural enterprises. The purpose of the work is to improve the organizational and economic mechanism of management of environmentally-oriented development of agricultural enterprises. Research methods are analysis and synthesis, abstract-logical, economic and statistical, and others. Results and novelty of the research – theoretical and applied aspects of improving the organizational and economic mechanism of environmentally-oriented development of enterprises in the agricultural sector are substantiated. The theoretical and methodological principles of improving the organizational and economic mechanism of managing the environmentally-oriented development of enterprises in the agricultural sector are considered. The approaches to the formation and evaluation of management systems aimed at integrating environmental goals into the production and economic activities of agricultural enterprises are systematized. Problematic issues of state environmental policy are considered, in particular, assessing the effectiveness of environmental regulation. The negative impact of lease relations and concentration of land ownership on the ecological state of rural areas is determined. The main directions of denationalization of environmental policy are substantiated. The results of the study can be used to improve state policy in the field of nature management and develop strategies for the development of agricultural enterprises.
