More than half of the specimens (334) are native varieties and forms. 372 samples are in long-term and medium-term storage. In 2024, 19 new samples of seed lettuce were introduced, including 3 samples of Czech origin, 2 samples of spinach, 3 samples of basilicas, 4 varieties of arugula and one variety of monarda. In 2025, 17 samples of salads of Ukrainian and foreign origin were involved, 3 of which are foreign, 1 sample of spinach. The characteristics of the samples based on the available information were studied. Phenological observations and biometric calculations were carried out. Early-ripening, late-ripening puff and cob salads of Ukrainian and foreign origin were found among the involved samples. Their morphological and economically valuable features, adaptability and yield formation were studied. For laying in the National Repository for 2024-2025, 5 samples of seed salad, 4 samples of spinach, and 1 sample of basil were grown. Samples of the collection were certified and entered into the passport database of the gene pool of plants of Ukraine of the National Center of Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine.
