It was established that the ash and slag are predominantly of aluminosilicate composition and exhibit diverse particle morphologies. Based on ICP-MS analysis, the concentrations of rare earth elements (REEs) in the solid waste of the power plant were determined, showing a dominance of light REEs over heavy ones, as well as the presence of a negative europium anomaly. A preliminary assessment of the spatial distribution of REEs revealed heterogeneity in their concentrations within the slag disposal areas.
