As a result, unsteady (pulsating) flows of the medium occur in the measuring pipelines of automated process control systems, which have a negative impact on the accuracy of pressure and pressure drop measurements due to the occurrence of resonance in the pneumatic channels of measuring transducers. In this regard, research on the dynamic characteristics of pressure and pressure differential measuring transducers operating under conditions of non-stationary (pulsating) flow of a gaseous medium is of particular relevance for assessing the impact of resonance in pneumatic channels on measurement accuracy. This research work is devoted to this issue, and based on the results, analytical dependencies have been refined using a developed mathematical model of the pneumatic channel of a pressure and pressure drop measuring transducer, which allow determining the resonance frequencies of the "pulse tube – transducer chamber" system and recommendations are given for avoiding resonance phenomena in pneumatic channels. In addition, an experimental setup was developed to study the dynamic characteristics of the pneumatic channel of the pressure and pressure drop measuring transducer, and the dynamic characteristics of the pneumatic channel with the PPS pressure measuring transducer were investigated. 3-RN for different values of the connecting tube length, and the adequacy of the mathematical model of the pneumatic channel was experimentally confirmed, and it was established that the limit value of the model error does not exceed 6.4%.
