Object of research: fodder crops of winter triticale varieties Tymofii, Plastun Volynskyi, Donets, and Bozhych. Purpose of the study: to develop and improve agrotechnical practices for cultivating fodder triticale capable of ensuring high and stable yields of grain and green biomass regardless of annual climatic conditions in the Southern Steppe of Ukraine. Research results. Unfavorable hydrothermal conditions were observed in 2024 and 2025, characterized by drought and elevated air temperatures during the heading and grain-filling stages, resulting in a decrease in crop productivity. On average for 2024–2025, the highest yield of fresh biomass of winter triticale was obtained when sowing the Tymofii variety after black fallow with fertilization at N45P45K45 plus top-dressing N45, reaching 35.5 t/ha. This treatment also resulted in the maximum yield of feed units (58.0 t/ha) and digestible protein (9.5 t/ha). The maximum grain yield was recorded when the crop was grown after black fallow, with the Bozhych and Tymofii varieties under fertilization N45P45K45 + N45, providing 4.9–5.5 t/ha of grain. When triticale was cultivated for green fodder and feed grain, the highest net profit and profitability level were achieved under fertilization with N45P45K45, accompanied by top-dressing with N30, indicating the high economic efficiency of this technological scheme.
