According to the results of the work, it is planned to deposit 2 strains of microorganisms in the Depository of Microorganisms of the D. K. Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the NAS of Ukraine. popup.description2 The quantity of culturable microorganisms of different ecological trophic groups in the rhizosphere and terrestrial part of moss samples (representatives of the genera Andreaea, Sanionia, Warnstrofia, Bryum, Polytrichum), bryophyte communities, and Deschampsia antarctica E. Desv., selected during the 28th UAE, was determined. Pure cultures of microorganisms capable of synthesizing biologically active substances, solubilizing phosphorus, zinc, and iron, as well as fixing nitrogen and producing enzymes were isolated, that are promising for biotechnological developments and research of adaptations to the influence of low temperatures, intense UV radiation, low organic substances content, and high concentrations of NaCl and heavy metal ions. Isolates Bacillus sp. Sg840, Pseudomonas sp. S135, Sporosarcina sp. S371, Sporosarcina sp. Bp140, Pseudomonas sp. 3B-In-57 and Pseudomonas sp. 79-102 were identified based on the results of studies of their morphological, cultural, physiological and biochemical characteristics and phylogenetic analysis of nucleotide sequences of the 16S rRNA gene. Nucleotide sequences of the 16S rRNA gene of these isolates have been registered in the GenBank database (GenBank accession numbers: PX482618.1, PX482610.1, PX482615.1, PX482542.1, OL343540.1, MW362274.1). Two strains Pseudomonas sp. 3B-In-57 and Pseudomonas sp. 79-102 were deposited in the Depository of microorganisms of the D. K. Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the NAS of Ukraine. Certificates about deposition of strains of microorganisms Pseudomonas sp. IMV B-8177 and Pseudomonas sp. IMV B-8178 dated 28.10.2025 have been received. The strains are promising for use in the composition of microbial preparations to improve seed germination and stimulate plant growth, for use in biotechnologies for cleaning contaminated environments from heavy metals (Cd2+, Fe2+, Cr(VI), Mn2+, Cu2+), as well as for producing proteases, lipases, and exopolysaccharides.
