It was found that in 2015–2025 the overall detection rate of S. suis decreased slightly, but the proportion of pathogenic isolates in the pathogen structure increased. ​Analysis of 126 S. suis isolates isolated from pig pathological material showed the presence of 8 serotypes, among which the most common were type 2 (41%), type 7 (18%) and type 9 (12%).  ​The PCR method for rapid typing of Str. suis strains and isolates has been improved, which allows for stable signal reproduction in three technical replicates (CV<2%) and helps to reduce the analysis time from 6 to 2.5 hours. ​The economic effect is more than 5 hryvnias per hryvnia of expenses. ​Consumers: State Food and Consumer Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine, regional departments of veterinary medicine, veterinary laboratories, farms of various forms of ownership.
