The purpose of the work is to establish the influence of fertilization systems on the level of realization of the biological potential of productivity of new sunflower varieties and hybrids in the soil and climatic conditions of Western Polissya. An adaptive technology for growing sunflower in the conditions of Western Polissya has been developed and scientific and practical recommendations “Adaptive technology for growing sunflower in the conditions of Western Polissya” have been prepared. The technology provides for: sowing with recommended hybrids for the conditions of the region – Marshal, Myrny, Bozhedar, Agronomichny, variety Serpanok; sowing at the recommended times – optimal – the period of May 2-11, permissible – April 20-30 (soil temperature at a depth of 10 cm is 8–10 °C); application of optimal fertilization systems - two-time foliar top dressing with urea (8 kg/ha and 5 kg/ha) or complex biologically active fertilizer "Ukrainian Humates Forte" (NPS 7:7:5) (2 l/ha) on the background of mineral nutrition N66P32K32; care for crops and harvesting - according to generally accepted technology. Sunflower seed yield of 4.1–4.9 t/ha is ensured; conditional net profit of 76-99 thousand UAH/ha; cost price of 19-20 thousand UAH/t; profitability of 245-275%.
