A number of regularities in the formation of HAP + TCF compositions with different component contents depending on the initial Ca/P ratios and the pH value of the solutions have been established. The fundamental possibilities of wide regulation of the component ratios in the indicated nanocompositions (TCF content up to 70 wt.%) during their synthesis in one stage have been shown. The chemical and phase composition of the obtained samples was characterized using analytical and physicochemical research methods (X-ray fluorescence analysis, spectrophotometry, powder radiography and X-ray phase analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, etc.). Based on the obtained results, conclusions were drawn regarding the different mechanisms of doping of GAP and TCF matrices with silver and zinc ions, which determines the different degree of doping of these matrices with the indicated metals. The biocompatibility and safety of a number of obtained samples doped with silver or combinations of sodium + silver were investigated, and their antimicrobial activity against a wide range of pathogens was also tested. Based on the tests, the safety of most synthesized samples was clarified and their antimicrobial activity was established depending on the silver content in the samples. In particular, it was shown that for the series of the general composition AgxNa1-xCa10(PO4)7 with a silver content x ≥ 0.5, a clear antimicrobial effect is manifested, which significantly increases as the amount of silver in the sample increases. Accordingly, the compounds of the above compositions can be used in the manufacture of synthetic implants for bone regeneration with antimicrobial activity.
