During the second stage, the results of the analysis of retrospective and current data on the ionospheric effects of the propagation of atmospheric gravity and planetary waves at high latitudes were obtained, namely, the results of the study the dependence of the appearance probability of sudden stratospheric warmings on solar activity and their impact on the state of the ionosphere; possible schemes of multi-position Doppler HF experiments to study atmospheric gravity waves and the traveling ionospheric disturbances (TID) in the Antarctic Peninsula region using, first of all, Doppler multi-position quasi-vertical HF sounding of the ionosphere; the results of the analysis of ionospheric disturbances over the Ukrainian Antarctic Akademik Vernadsky station (UAS) during the powerful Mother's Day geospace storm (May 2024) according to data from classical and SDR-based ionosondes; updated methods for assessing vertical characteristics of the TID based on data from vertical sounding of the ionosphere using both classical and Doppler methods.
