The purpose of the work is to increase the effectiveness of prevention of exacerbations of bronchial asthma in children during martial law by reducing their frequency and duration. Research methods are clinical, questionnaire, mathematical, statistical. A significant deterioration in the course of bronchial asthma (BA) in children has been established during the period of martial law: the proportion of uncontrolled asthma increased threefold, the annual frequency of asthma episodes rose by a factor of 8.4, the need for bronchodilators increased 4.8 times, and hospitalizations increased 3.4 times. Chronic psychoemotional stress with prolonged stay in damp, cold, and poorly ventilated environments contributed to a twofold increase in symptom complaints, a more severe course of exacerbations, and a 35.4% rise (over 3 years of war) in the number of children hospitalized for BA exacerbations. The frequency of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in this group reached 46.7%, which is 2.4 times higher than in the pre-war period; practical recommendations were developed for diagnosing infection using specific IgG and IgM antibody levels to M. pneumoniae. Trends toward changes in several peripheral blood parameters were identified, may suggesting a growing role of viral-bacterial associations in asthma exacerbations, although these findings require further confirmation. The prevalence of sensitization to epidermal and fungal allergens doubled, most likely due to prolonged stays in damp shelters. Spirometry showed a 10,0–20,0% decreased in indicators FEV₁, FVC, PEF, and MEF₇₅, along with an increased bronchial reversibility index, indicating more pronounced ventilatory impairment in children experiencing asthma exacerbations during wartime. Field of application – pediatrics, pulmonology, allergology. Product Description popup.authors Tetiana O. Tverdokhlib Rudenko Serhii M. Vira O. Stryzh Promska Nataliia V. Olena Rechkina Oksana M.
