Pidolp). popup.description2 Research results: - during 2024-2025, sunflower breeding material in the amount of 793 samples was analyzed at the initial stages of the breeding process and a working collection of 75 samples was formed, which had a relatively high level of resistance (7-9 points) to brown rot and embelisis. - a collection of sunflower genotypes for resistance to brown rot and embelisis in the amount of 43 samples was created by the intsukht method (the level of resistance was 7-9 points) and it was evaluated for other valuable economic characteristics. - scientific and practical recommendations were created on the methodology for creating effective methods for selecting sunflower lines with a high level of resistance to brown rot (Rhyzopus (nigricans Enrend) and embellisia (Embellisia helianthi (Hansf.) Pidolp.. - infectious material parasitizing sunflower was collected in different regions of Ukraine and the population of the main pathogens of the infectious background was replenished with a new infectious agent. - newly created and commercial hybrids and their parental components were tested at the modernized infectious hospital.
